Regional Parks

Mahurangi West Regional Park, is located in the upper reaches of the Hauraki Gulf. Tu Ngutu Villa takes prime position on Tu Ngutu point at the western entrance to Mahurangi Harbour overlooking the Regional Park. You can access the walking trails and three beaches contained in the regional park directly from the Villa, or you can drive to neighbouring regional parks, including Tawharanui, Wenderholm, and Marine Reserve Goat Island. 

Gulf Islands

From Tu Ngutu the surrounding Hauraki Gulf Islands such as Tiritiri Matangi bird sanctuary, Kawau Island and Motuora Island are all closely accessed by boat.
